KEN KULJU (MANAGING DIRECTOR)

Ken Kulju joined Seaview in May 2008 after heading the U.S. Healthcare Equity Capital Markets group for Credit Suisse in New York, with responsibility for financing both life science and services sector companies. 

Mr. Kulju’s background includes over 22 years of experience as an equity research analyst in the specialty and major pharmaceutical sectors. He was ranked as the #1 specialty pharmaceuticals analyst in the Institutional Investor surveys in 1999 and 2000, and Fortune All-Star Analyst rankings in 2000 and 2001.

During his Wall Street career, his coverage universe included major and specialty pharmaceuticals as well as selective life science services companies during tenures at Rothschild (1988-1992), UBS (1993-1997) and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (now Credit Suisse) from 1998-2000. During 2003-2006, Mr. Kulju was also Team Leader for the Credit Suisse healthcare equity research group. 

Within capital markets and research, Mr. Kulju has participated in over 35 financing transactions raising aggregated capital in excess of $8.0 billion.

Kulju received his MBA from Drexel University in Finance in 1983, and BS from Pennsylvania State University in Business Administration in 1980
